Automatic Windows installation

The quickest way to install or update the DASAN plugin.

Recommended
  1. Close JDownloader completely, including its tray icon.
  2. Download DASAN-JDownloader-Plugin.zip and extract the entire ZIP file.
  3. Keep DASAN-JDownloader-Plugin-Installer.exe and the payload folder together, then run the installer as Administrator.
  4. Select JDownloader2.exe and confirm installation. Existing DASAN plugin files are backed up before replacement.

Extract the ZIP before running the installer. Do not move or delete the payload folder; it must remain next to the installer executable.

Manual installation

For Windows, Linux and macOS.

  1. Close JDownloader completely.
  2. Download and extract jdownloader_dasan_patch.zip.
  3. Copy the hoster classes to jd/plugins/hoster.
  4. Copy the decrypter classes to jd/plugins/decrypter, then restart JDownloader.
Back up any existing DasanCo and DasanCrawler class files before replacing them.

Where can I get my API Key?
Open your DASAN account settings, generate Key 1 and Key 2, then click Update Account. Copy the combined value shown in the JDownloader section.
Where do I add DASAN in JDownloader?
Open Settings, choose Account Manager, click Add, select dasan.co and paste the combined API Key.
How do I use the Windows installer ZIP?
Download DASAN-JDownloader-Plugin.zip and extract the entire archive. Keep DASAN-JDownloader-Plugin-Installer.exe next to the payload folder, then run the installer as Administrator. Do not run the EXE directly from inside the ZIP and do not separate it from the payload folder.
How do I install the plugin on Linux or macOS?

Yes, when the plugin and JDownloader queue are configured correctly, finished jobs can be added to the download queue automatically. This removes the need to manually open every completed job.
Can JDownloader extract ZIP files automatically?
JDownloader can automatically extract supported archives after download when archive extraction is enabled in the application settings.
Why is my DASAN account not being accepted?
Make sure you generated both keys, clicked Update Account, copied the complete combined API Key without extra spaces and selected dasan.co in Account Manager.
Does the DASAN plugin cost extra?
The plugin itself has no separate download fee. DASAN usage is charged according to your account, balance and downloaded volume.
